Proud NCCER Accredited Training Sponsor and Accredited Assessment Center
Apache Industrial is proud to be both an Accredited Training Sponsor and an Assessment Center with the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). NCCER is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) education foundation created by industry to develop standardized curriculum and assessments with portable, stackable credentials and certifications for skilled craft professionals. To achieve this objective, NCCER provides a comprehensive workforce development system that includes accreditation, training, assessment, certification and career development solutions for the construction and maintenance industries.
U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Program
Our U.S. Department of Labor registered program utilizes NCCER Introduction to Basic Construction Skills Curricula to lay the foundation needed for individuals to advance to craft specific training. This program prepares our entry-level apprentices to begin their on-the-job training by teaching basics such as performing a job safety analysis, safely using hand and power tools, basic construction math and drawings, handling materials safely, and communication skills. All entry-level apprentices earn while they learn, both in the classroom and on the job.
Apache has developed a program with a customized safety orientation to decrease the incident risk for short-service workers (SSW), regardless of their status in the apprenticeship program.
Our incumbent worker apprenticeships are designed to upskill employees who began with experience beyond entry-level, but have not yet achieved journey-level certification in their craft. Establishing standardized, portable, industry-recognized credentials documents competency and promotes a safer, more qualified workforce. Our program reflects our commitment to the learning and development of Apache employees, embodying our culture of accountability and empowerment.
