Apache Industrial is honored to announce our recent acceptance of the prestigious 2023 Eagle Award by ABC at the 34th Annual Excellence in Construction® gala for our contribution to the LyondellBasell PO/TBA project.
Our team’s exceptional work included erecting and demobilizing over 10,000 tons of scaffolding, as well as providing painting, insulation, and fireproofing services, resulting in over 2.5 million safe work hours on the unit. This project was the largest capital Investment in LYB history and culminated in to what is now the largest PO/TBA facility in the world.
The award recognizes not only Apache Industrial’s technical expertise and dedication to safety, but also their contribution to advancing the construction industry’s standards for quality and innovation.

The Houston Area Health and Safety Council® hosted their biggest ever annual tailgate extravaganza last week. The 2024 theme was all about Vegas and “Safety on the Strip!” Apache Industrial was proud to participate. We are also proud that our Cirque du Apache booth won in the Best Entertainment category. As HR Director Ivan Dominguez stated, this effort took cooperation from “teammates from different parts of our business: Operations, HR, Business Development, Payroll, and Accounting, from our offices and job sites that come together every day, to make Apache successful and one of the best employers.”
Apache Industrial’s workforce development team met with site leadership at ExxonMobil Beaumont to discuss a successful training pilot program conducted in 2022 and 2023. We are thrilled to announce that we will be scaling this program and expanding our NCCER training in 2024. Apache’s Chief Operating Officer, Stewart Records, stated, “Our employees are the heartbeat of Apache, and we are dedicated to providing opportunities that allow them to excel. This program will help us to safely deliver the quality work our customers have come to expect.”
